WHEN IS HIS GOING TO START?

Harbour International School has been registered with the Indian Govt. in January 2020. The school will begin in August 2020 with its first year of existence.

WHERE IS IT LOCATED?

The HIS board is currently looking at beginning the school with a leased property that is suitable for the needs of the school. HIS eventually aims at procuring its own property and building in Dehradun. 
The leased location has not been finalized yet but is intended to be in a 5km radius of Jakhan, Dehradun, India. HIS plans to have a location finalized by March.

WHAT GRADE LEVEL/CLASS IS HIS UPTO?

HIS will start with KG - 5. Each year we will add a higher grade and therefore, intend to be a K-12 school within 7 years and have our very first graduating class. You can safely make HIS your child’s school up to graduation.

Right from the start, HIS is working towards the affiliation and accreditation from well renowned American Accrediting body. 
In the meanwhile, the education at HIS is recognized and at power with other schools across the globe and doesn’t demerit the students, academically.

WHICH BOARD DOES HIS BELONG TO?

HIS is an international school and therefore is not under any Indian board. Being an international school, affiliated and accredited with the American body, HIS and its students are not placed at any disadvantage both in India and abroad.

WILL A STUDENT BE ABLE TO TRANSITION INTO AN INDIAN SCHOOL BOARD AFTER HAVING STUDIED AT HIS?

A student of HIS will easily be able to transition and transfer to any Indian school board. We believe that HIS prepares students to be very capable and equipped students to transition and thrive in any system and board.

WHERE CAN STUDENTS GO FOR FURTHER EDUCATION AFTER GRADUATING FROM HIS?

Graduates of HIS will be able to pursue higher education anywhere in the world. They will be recognized and certified to continue further education both in Indian universities and abroad. HIS is not designed to equip students to only go abroad after graduation. Students will be well equipped and recognized to attend Indian colleges and universities also.
